CHAMBRIN Jack:
Born March 26, 1919 in Rambouillet (Yvelines - France). Died in 1983. French.
Landscape painter and decorator.
A student of Maurice Denis, he regularly participated in the Salons d'Automne, Mai and Tuileries in Paris. He also worked with PE Clairin in his hermitage in Seine-et-Marne, where he realized important wall decorations. He traveled to Holland, Germany, Denmark and made solo exhibitions in Amsterdam, Milan, Turin, etc. In 1954, he received the Fénéon Prize, and in 1956 participated in a mission to the Musée de l'Homme.
