Antoine Édouard MOULINET:
Born February 25, 1833 in Olouzac (Hérault - France).
Died on November 22, 1891 in Chartres (Eure-et-Loir).
XIXth century. French. Painter of genre, still lifes.

He was a teacher. His taste for painting made him obtain a grant from the department of Eure-et-Loir in 1858 and he went to Paris to work in Gleyre's studio at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts, then with Giraud. He exhibited for the first time at the Salon of 1859 and painted mainly children's scenes and still lifes and continued to take part in the exhibitions until 1881. He was a professor of drawing at the Lycée de Chartres.
